“The Quiksilver Surfing Event is coming back” according to WCBS 880′s Sophia Hall (Did Theofan confirm?)

Ahh… these rumors are getting out of hand. Is this just more speculation? Or a confirmation from Long Beach?

CBS New York/ WCBS 880 just published an article & audio stating that the Quiksilver Pro surfing competition is returning to Long Island next year. Again, that still doesn’t mean Long Beach. Sophia Hall got some audio of City Manager Charles Theofan talking about the event’s success along with an interesting little quote at the end:

Theofan said many people came from out of state which will likely be the case next year.

Ohh things are getting interesting around here. Anticipation is building….

  1. this is great news! I can’t wait to play the beach again…easily one of the best days of my life!!! And for all you people who are against it coming back, this leaves you a whole bunch of time to book a vacation or, better yet MOVE OUT OF TOWN!!
