Molly’s Fish Market and Clam House and the Mediterranean Seafood Cafe Under New Management.

I am hearing that both Molly’s Fish Market and Clam House (958 W Beech St) and the Mediterranean Seafood Cafe (952 W. Beech Street) in the West End are now under new management by Jim Grasso (formerly of Trattoria Grasso in Huntington and Roslyn and Cold Spring Harbor.)

Grasso has a good reputation in the food world, so let’s hope they have the same success here in Long Beach.

  1. Great news… I always felt like I needed a shower when I walked out of the fish market. Hopefully he can get some nice, quality fish in there and clean it up a bit so I don’t have to go to IP or PL for my fish.

  2. The restaurant has to be better than before, before I never wanted to return after the first visit.
And another thing, everytime I look in there I never seem to see more than one or maybe two tables of people there, and they are always just one couple. Goes to show you how popular they were.
