SITE NEWS: Revamping Entire Comments System. (UPDATED: Back to normal)

UPDATED Monday Morning, Feb 27th:

I switched back to the old way. DISQUS doesn’t allow wordpress user login, plus it did this creepy thing were it showed where else you posted on the internet. We don’t want that, do we?

So everything is back to normal. Noting to see here…

UPDATED: Ok so I just moved everything over to an entirely new comments system that is faster with a lot more features. You can log in with a guest account, facebook, wordpress, google, disqus, twitter, yahoo & open ID.

Also, the newest comments now appear at the top – much like what most blogs are doing these days (engadget, gizmodo, huffingtonpost, etc).

So far I have noticed two things that are semi-annoying:

  1.  old comment notifications might not work, so if you are subscribed to a thread, you’re going to have to resubscribe (sorry!)
  2.  For some reason, wordpress logging in and posting seems to have a bug.. I am looking into why… in the meantime, if you logged in with a wordpress account, please try to find any other way for now – such as a guest account for now.

Other than that, it’s a much smoother system that is much faster. I hope you like it!

I am currently revamping the entire comments system. None of your comments will be deleted. Just please be patient and I will update you when the process is done.

I promise it will be worth the wait.

Please read the terms of service before you comment.

  1. Might just be me, but I’m Seeing layout issues on my mobile. Each post I click on, the sentences in the post all collapse to the left margin. Just the posts…not the side bar showing recent comments, not the homepage.
