Restaurant Week Continues… (and ends Sunday, April 29th)

I just wanted to remind everybody that the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce sponsored Restaurant Week is still going on. Head over to their website where you will find the complete list of participating restaurants, including: All Good Electric, All Star Real Estate Brokers, Broward Limousine, E. H. Haines Electric, Fire Command Co. Inc., KoKo Fit Club, MacDonald Plumbing & Heating, Mark Tannenbaum, Patch.com, Prudential Douglas Elliman RE/Lorraine Egloff, Raymond Givargis, Servpro of Long Beach/Oceanside, The CYBERNET Place & Z-Best Maintenance Company.

…. ALL PLATE LICKING GOODNESS! YUMMY YUM YUM.

Oh wait.. what? Is that the right list? Anyway, The last day is next Sunday, April 29th.

I went to Duke Falcon’s (36 West Park Ave, Long Beach, NY 11561) this past weekend and had a wonderful prix fixe meal: BBQ Chicken, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, fried onions, beans, salad and key lime pie. DE LI CIOUS! I definitely recommend!

  1. I read that the Chamber of Commerce voted the owner of the Allegria “Man of the Year”. But the Allegria owes the city thousands in taxes!? How could this be?? Can we investigate?

  2. Off topic, Odd as it may seem, but I have always wondered, why doesn’t a City like Long Beach which is a Beach town community with so many restaurants, cafes, bars, Pubs, etc have a good seafood restaurant where you can have some Clams, Oysters, Lobsters, etc. Why do we have to go all the way to Freeport for this?
Wake up you restaurant owners and see the light. There is a big market for this and yet no one does it. Just some ideas for you folks who complain about business being slow. It’s the only thing that is missing in our restaurants.
I am a self admitted oyster addict. I cannot get enough of them and yet I can’t find them here in Long Beach! Don’t anyone ear anything but Burgers here?.
