bigbrother“Nassau County will begin booting or towing away vehicles on Monday [April 21st] to collect unpaid fines from scofflaws with three or more outstanding parking and red light camera tickets.

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano unveiled the new scofflaw patrol vans, equipped with license plate readers, last week.

  1. Just wait until the speed camera goes into effect on Lido Blvd by the high school – no one goes 20MPH there, hardly anyone observed the 30MPH limit, and compliance is near zero at 20MPH. That speed camera is going to ring up everyone in Long Beach who commutes that way to work everyday – let’s see how many residents are for it, when they all get speeding tickets there. It’s so nice of Mangano to spend County money on these vans – instead of filling potholes.
