Food Vendors on the Street = Brilliant!

Who made the brilliant decision to place all food truck vendors at this weekends Long Beach Boardwalk and Street Fair on the street? Was it City Council? Jack? Chamber of Commerce? Park and Recreation crew? The Long Beach Festival Committee? The illuminati? I just want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to whoever it was. What a brilliant idea!

I honestly cannot remember if this was done at past fairs, but food trucks on the street protects our beautiful boardwalk from the grease and keeps these heavy food trucks off it too!

I don’t know if this was a one time thing, but I would love for this configuration to be at all boardwalk fairs moving forward. Trucks and crafts on the street, crafts on the boardwalk; it’s that easy 🙂

Anyway, the Long Beach Boardwalk and Street Fair runs for one more day: Sunday, May 4th from 10am to 6pm @ Riverside Blvd and the Boardwalk. Lots of food, crafts, animals, pickles, rides and fun!

  1. This year, the Street Fair coincided with Restaurant Week – another great move by the LB Chamber. Each brings more connections to the other. Kudos all around!
