  1. It reads he was admitted as a walk in at South Nassau. I wonder if he was first turned down at our urgent care facility? That must have been a painful trip to the hospital. I am glad he is alright.

  2. Yeah, sounds like this dope was attempting to draw and shot himself. Did he learn nothing from Plaxico Burris!!! 1.) Always use a holster 2.) Don’t clear yourself

  3. Anthony, have you noticed the silence on the blog? Discus is so buggy it’s frustrating. Can post on some threads, can’t on others. Can log on; can’t log on. Can’t find new posts listed on the right.

Is this really worth it to avoid posting views that aren’t popular with the yuppie crowd? I don’t know what you’ve had to delete, but maybe someone posting that each of the six LB shooters were a certain race isn’t necessary to censor?

Sorry for my hijacking this thread. You have a great blog and a thankless job. I love all you do and all I read, especially the politically incorrect rants. They are often the most factual. If Discus means banning these, it might as well be Newsday or the City’s Website.

  4. Eddie, it’s a little buggy, but I’m working on it as I can. Disqus is used by so many major websites, so they can’t be so wrong using it. Can they?Lets give it some time. There might be issues with some blog plugins or the actual theme. I will look into it, but it’s going to take me some time. I will also fix the Recent Comments stuff. I know a lot of you love that aspect of the blog. There is a fix for it. It involves using a plugin that works directly with disqus. I know there is a delay and it does drive me a little crazy.

Also, I don’t delete posts unless an individual asks me to. It’s usually when somebody anonymously defames a private person or local business. I don’t censor view points that I don’t agree with. It’s more about the bullying. Please remember the post about the RENTS from a few months ago how everybody treated the girl who asked the original question. I dislike the bullying.

This system controls bullying by allowing those who are logged in to moderate a little by LIKING or DISLIKING a comment. I kinda need to try this for now.

  5. So Eddie, I guess you’re saying “sunlight is the best disinfectant”? Not jonly yuppies, but all decent people attempting to engage in a serious community forum find irrelevant ad hominem attack or irrelevant politically incorrect facts to support spurious racist conclusions disgusting and repellant. Anthony, I support your decision to disinfect by removal after allowing some sunlight as a statement of respect to all of us.
