  1. Thank you for providing this counterpoint presentation to the ICMA report. Not presented in this, but of interest to me and a very important component of the debate is the functional value of a 3 man vs 5 man engine response. Union president Piazza stated the impact of a 5 man response is “staggering”. I think that it is vital to understand exactly how it is in operational terms. How would outcomes to calls be “dramatically different”? If that point is convincingly argued, it could cause many residents to rethink their idea of cost effective.

  2. It sure seems that LB needs more emergency medical services and to have the highest trained emergency medical personnel. Is that not accurate?
