If you are having trouble getting a full team together, we can still help form teams. Last year Stranger Danger won the Thursday night league as a team of strangers. This year their coming so big they are making 2 teams.Go to www.barefootbocce.com and click on “2017 Bocce Standings” to see the registration we have so far and to sign up a team or individual for 2017The plan is to start with the first week of games on July 11th, 12th and 13th.
The Bocce League organizers sent out an email yesterday with the disappointing news of no bocce this year due to costs.
“After looking at all options the cost of construction of the new site on the bay proved to not be affordable.”
Let’s hope we see some bocce in the future. I was actually looking to join a team this year. Oh well. I know the organizers really wanted to make this happen. Hopefully something will change.
