“Our Time With Hurricane Sandy” [VIDEO]

Screen Shot 2013-06-25 at 10.56.33 AM

You might have seen local photographer Christina Tisi-Kramer‘s first video, which emotionally captured Long Beach during and after superstorm Sandy. Well, she just put the finishing touches to an edited version of “Our Time With Hurricane Sandy,” which Christina says she’ll submit to the Long Beach Film Festival this August.

Not to mention that other Long Beach/Sandy video that the city recently praised at a City Council meeting, Christina’s truly captures what most of us went through during those horrific days. Although it’s her perspective, we can all relate since our stories are slightly different, yet mostly the same. Her images will speak to you. That other video (which shall remain nameless) was just a bunch of folks standing around complaining about LIPA. (Sorry, but I just had to rant a little about that).

I am not sure what else to say, but “Our Time With Hurricane Sandy” will make you cry; it’s just too damn emotional. Well done Christina, you created a masterpiece.
