BREAKING NEWS: I’m the first person to order alcohol at Lost & Found

I am Lost & Found paid liquor customer #1  This amazing feat was confirmed by the staff. Jealous? You should be. This restaurant is amazing. Part of me is scared to even blog about Lost & Found (951 W Beech) because it’s hard enough to get a table there. It truly is what every restaurant should strive to be.

Lost & Found opened about a year ago and it’s always been BYOB. Starting tonight you can order beers and wine. Of course I did not take a photo of that menu. Here is their liquor announcement:

“Proud to announce Lost & Found has finally obtained it’s liquor license. We will be serving a fantastic selection of beer and wine starting tomorrow Friday January 22nd! A big thank you to all of our loyal customers who stuck with us this past month without any alcohol. Your patronage did not go unnoticed. None of this would be possible without you. Look forward to seeing all of you very soon!” [LINK]

[PS. Please drink responsibly!]

Lost & Found (951 West Beech Street)

This is not a review. It’s simply a love letter to the Curry Fried Chicken that I just ate at one of my favorite new places in Long Beach:

Lost & Found
951 West Beech Street, Long Beach, NY 11561

There you’ll find an organic decor of wooden beams and walls housing a simple, yet diverse menu of items you won’t find anywhere else in town. Honey Glazed Carrots? Oh, you have no idea. Maple Bourbon Bacon? Yes, Please! Seared Cod? “It was cooked beautifully,” according to my wife. Everything we ate was freakin’ awesome.

I honestly don’t know what else to say, but Lost & Found, where have you been all my life? I am so glad I found you! Seriously, if you haven’t eaten there yet, do yourself a favor and make reservations in advance. The place books up fast!
